instructionbook filled out wrong

Hi,

maybe this is a stupid question but i just noticed the dealer filled out the instruction book wrong,
my car is a 09' supercharged.

he filled in TDV8 s/c

would this be a problem and would you correct it? (maybe ask a new book)

thanks

Take the book back and insist on a new one. It should not be a disaster as they use the VIN and registration for records and the VIN will show it as being an 09 S/C. It will be for when you have decided to sell for another one that you may have a problem. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

... and whilst you are there I suggest you ask your dealer where the next LR dealership is. If your dealer doesn't know the difference between a TDv8 and a S/C - what possible chance have they of servicing the vehicle properly Rolling Eyes RRS TDv8 HSE Rimini

I wonder, purely theroretical thinking here but....

If you then proceeded to fill your S/C with Diesel because it said so in the book whether the dealer would be liable?

It would be very Embarassed to admit that you went in to buy a S/C and unknowingly then assumed you had actually bought a TDV8 so just carried on oblivious...

Do you think they would accept that you never saw the long label on the rear hatch that reads Supercharged?

Or could it be that Mr Rooney was right and you can fuel your wife's TDv8 with Petrol after all! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Well to be fair Tim, the book says 'TDV8 SUPERCHARGED' Neutral Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad
