Depends how old your RRS is and what Nokia phone you have. More than likely your nokia should connect by Bluettoth if you have the phone system fitted. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Should link up by Bluetooth but there is no cradle for the N95. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Trev. Bluetooth will look for your phone as you enter the car. If they don't auto pair, go into the N95 bluetooth menu and search for devices. Pair with Landrover and the pairing code is 2121. You can set it to pair automatically in future, or to ask you each time if you want to accept pairing. I have the N95 and it works well, but never managed to get the phonebook into the vehcles memory.

I hope Roberts your Dad's brother when you try this. RRS TDv8 HSE Rimini

Smarticus.................... sounds like you may need to copy all of the contacts in you phone's address book/contact list to the SIM, the LR Bluetooth only reads the contacts on the SIM.
I can't rememebr how to copy them in a Nokia, but with a Motorola there is a function in the menus that you can select to copy all contacts to the SIM. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Likewise in the Nokias, but it changes from phone to phone.

Trev, unlike in some older BMWs there was never a LR handset in the RRS. You had an optional cradle which supported a couple of old phones (6230 was de rigeur) but had the added value of charging whilst connected and also being able to use the roof fin to "boost" the signal your phone got. New RRSs out of the factory today don't even have the cradle fitment any longer so it's Bluetooth all the way now.

The origin of the English expression that "Bob's your Uncle" (used when something works out in your favour) is supposedly from the 19th century when Robert Cecil (aka Bob) promoted his nephew to a high position in Government when said nephew wasn't adequately qualified to do the job. In other words, having Bob as his Uncle mean't he got something good that he didn't earn on merit. The expressionh "Nepotism" also means looking after your Nephews. RRS TDv8 HSE Rimini

I have a MY8.5 and a Nokia N95 8g, the phone connects via bluetooth and the phonebook is downloaded automatically, but only one phone number per contact, and no call register available. Sad

You can check here which functions are available for your car/phone combo
