Hi, Bit mundane this for all you fellas but can anyone tell me which child booster seats will fit the RR sport HSE.The rear headrest seems to make them all stand away from the seat.
Thanks

Have you tried raising the headrestraint before fitting the child seat?

Alternatively give James a call at CHPR (One of our site sponsors). He will definately be able to help with information on the correct type of child seatsfor the RRS.

Oh yeah, welcome to the forum. Thumbs Up Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Aspen Leather, Cherry Wood, Privacy Glass, PTI, Tow Pack, Mudflaps, Tasmods, a new Fuelflap, a RRSport.co.uk umbrella in the boot & a RRSport.co.uk sticker on the rear glass.

You could take the head rest out completely off course......................... it's a fiddly job as there is a recessed button on one side of the steel rods, the opposite side to the visible button, in the plastic where it goes into the seat back. I don't mean to be an MCP but if you are not careful pressing in the recessed button can break even blokes finger nails if you aren't careful! There are instructions for this in the owners manual.......................... 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

MCP = Male Chauvanist Pig. Confused

I had to put my thinking cap on for that one. Good job I didn't ask Mrs TB, otherwise we could have all been in for a very long wait for an answer. Laughing Laughing Laughing Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Thanks for that Tim, perhaps removing one of the headrests will be the answer. I did find the button and pulled it up but didnt want to pull in out all together in case I broke it.

You won't break it, it is designed to be removed, there are 2 buttons, one each of the each head restraint steel bars but it looks like there is only one, the other is recessed on the other steel post, if you get my drift! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Malaysia 2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Chawton White

Please take note of this from your Owner's Manual...

CHILD SEATS

The seat belts fitted to your vehicle are designed for adults and larger children. For their safety, it is very important that all infants and children under 12 are restrained in a suitable child safety seat appropriate to their age and size (see table). Child safety seats approved for use in your vehicle are available from your Land Rover Dealer/Authorised Repairer.

Only fit a child seat that has been approved for use in your vehicle, and ensure that the manufacturer's fitting instructions are followed exactly.

Note: Crash statistics show that children are safer when properly restrained in the rear seating positions, than they are in the front.

For optimum safety, children should travel in the rear of the vehicle at all times, front passenger seat travel is NOT recommended. However, if it is essential that a child should travel in the front passenger seat, Land Rover recommends that when installing child restraints, the vehicle front passenger seat be positioned fully rearward, the lumbar adjusted to its minimum support position and the cushion adjusted to its highest position. Additionally, if your vehicle is also fitted with front cushion rake adjustment, this should be adjusted to its lowest position. The seat belt upper adjustable anchorage should be set to its lowest position. Disable the airbag using the switch on the end of the instrument panel.

I have managed to programme the home address in and thats about it. But she always listens and takes me home. Is it a woman thing?? I had a mans voice in the TD5 but cant get one in the RRsport.
