Thinking of buying a "dust buster" type vacuum?

Then don't buy one of these most useless and expensive pieces of kit!
http://www.dyson.co.uk/store/product.asp?product=DC16-SY-STD

I did and regret it - it is powerful and efficient, just like any other Dyson but the battery only lasts 6 minutes when it's new and less after a few uses.................. a total waste of £100. Should have saved £70 and bought a Black and Decker instead 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

Unfortunately "they are all like that sir - it's a characteristic" Now where have I heard that before? Rolling with laughter
It also tells you in the instruction book that that is the battery life on one charge................. not something they advertise though! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Rimini Red

What a relief that I don't need a "dust buster" gizmo. Every couple of weeks I pick up the "big bits" of rubbish in my car (empty cans, sandwich wrappers, MacDonalds bags and other assorted detrious). Anything too small to pick up by hand gets left where it is, until the bi-annual "shake out the mats" routine.

Smarticus - I thought that was what the annual service and valet was for - got to give the garage something to do other than plugging the car into a computer.
I bought the portable cleaner for in the house. I use a garden hose and plenty of water on the inside of my Defender, that gets everything except the biggest lumps of dirt out of that. Shocked 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
