Vibration at 2500rpm???

I'm getting a vibration at 2500rpm? it happens wether I'm reveing through or staying at those revs, I've spoke to the dealer and he said it's because I've got 22" alloys on the car? just wondered if anyone else has had this problem?

thanks in advance.

Hi Ant,

I can understand your frustration with the vibration.

mine did exactly that which was at my usual cruising speed.... Whistle

all sorted now , I changed the exhaust for a JP stainless one .

a nicer burble when idling , no vibration at 2500.

mine was the exhaust which was dissapoining for a car in this class.

the 22" wheel thing is a bit of a smokescreen. there was an issue with FFRR vibration thru the steering wheel when idling , NOT driving. (only with 22's)

Good luck

Mine has a bad vibration between 50 - 85 ish under load through the steering wheel. 20" wheels ballanced by the dealers and still there. New rack was supposed to be going in today.

Thanks,

I'd already done some forum diggin and after the dealers told me it wasn't a common fault and they didn't know what to do. I pointed them in the direction of that TSB only to be told. "Oh yeah, here it is...."
