Privacy glass / tints

In a post i will log later this week I will provide an update on the sale of my HSE - Thumbs Up - looking at its replacement I will be choosing detail on the replacement - the HSE going has unknown tints, I am interested in what others have opted for - I am not keen on an extreme A pillar B pillar contrast (ie clear to Limo) and think what I have now is what pentagon call smoke from the A pillar back...

what have others gone for in the aftermarket range, clear front and full privacy rear of the B pillar or gradual, closer contrast options ?

I am needing to make this decision on a remote order hence polling opinion Confused

For comment the penatgon website (other tinters are available) has some good images of the effects,

what would / did you choose between the A and B pillar and rear of the B pillar

just to point out as it might be the same on the RRS

The standard glass on the FL2 does have a tint in it, and is within 1% of the legal limit, so applying any exta tint to the front windows will make it illegal and you might face a fine and points if the police take a dislike.

Edit: Disco3 have had a group buy on security glass laminate with tints included, stops the smash and grab type thefts.

I think it does all depend on the colour you're buying into... I think white with tints looks fantastic, but it can be a little lost on the blacks unless you for one of the darkest tints. All subjective though Thumbs Up
