I've been a Land Rover owner for years but the local dealer was a bit taken aback when on RRS launch day in 2005 I took my big RR (aka FFRR) in for a service and I told them just to wrap the Giverny Green with Aspen leather 2.7 SE that they had just pulled the sheets off and I would take it away - they though I was joking but I wasn't and I ran it for 2.5years. I'm now on my 2nd RRS but the current one is a TDv8 instead of a TDv6. Would love a 2010MY 5.0l S/C but I'm getting too used to the TDv8's excellent performance for a diesel and the economy (27mpg local driving, 32-34 on the motorway). 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I jumped ship from a 2006 BMW 730 D SE and Ihave to be honest (at the risk of severe heckling) but the RRS doesn't come close to the BMW for performance, handling, comfort or in fact in any other way whatsoever.
