Well as with all pub car parks.. cars left at owners risk.. but i know this particular place very well.. know where all the cameras point (although are no good in the dark) and there have not been any nice cars ever broken into.. just kev cars smashed for speakers etc.. my mates regularly leave their cars in the car park overnight too.. if i ask nicely they will cone off the rear section of the car park at about 5pm and let us all bowl in with our RRS' and D3's.. however i must warn, being a friday, there is NO guarantee for this, as the car park is usually packed from 5-6.30pm when everyone goes to meet up for a drink after work.. i know this, had to park my RRS up the grass verge once when i went to meet my printer there. But i will see what i can do... it the owners are away, it will be no problem, as im mates with their son, and the manager so they will bend the rules to accomodate if the mum and dad are away.

The earlier the better - we started at 0800 sharp with coffee and hot bacon rolls when I went in December 04. The earlier you get there the more time that you have to spend on the tour in the morning.......... and to spend lots of dosh in the Gear Shop. One of the guys arrived at 7am having driven up from darkest Kent - thinking the M40 would be nose to tail all the way he left plenty early enough and had a clear run through round the Outer London Race Track (M25) and up the M40..... Still if you are early you can go and ogle all the new cars waiting to be taken out the factory gates on trailers - do you think would notice if I left behind a Giverny Green SE and went home in a White HSE or S/C? 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

i don't normall 'do' 10am or earlier, but for you lot i may make an exception.. will see what time she wants us there and will make it 1.5hrs before. I.e. probably 8am, if i recall correctly think she said starting point 9.30am.. we can set a meeting place nearby (have the ideal place in mind) or just make ur way to factory.. i think it would be better to convoy it in.. but then what happens if someone is late, do we wait or just leave em.. (as for example me, at the last event!! = what a plonker!) |
