2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey
Compomotive PD1880 alloy wheels

I have received the following offer from Compomotive for their 18" PD1880 wheels as fitted to the Bowler Nemisis

Quote:

Hi Tim

For an order of 80 wheels group buy we can offer you our PD1880 @ £ 165.00 gbp each + 17.5% VAT (retail is £220.00 gbp + VAT)
Wheels are available in silver, grey, black, gold or white.
Carriage to UK mainland is £ 7.50 x 4 cartons = £30.00 gbp + 17.5% VAT.
Total for 4 wheels would be £ 810.75 gbp. Quotes for shipping to overseas can be made individually.

We are happy to accept individual orders directly & as soon as we have payment for 20 orders we would manufacture the 80 wheels all together.

Payment could be made by bank transfer, debit card, credit card (2% surcharge) or paypal (4% surcharge)

Manufacturing time would normally be 21>28 days from receipt of orders. Bowler will be removed from all the wheels however if we have to modify the wheels with a special name this would take an extra week.

Regarding the brake modification as we are not a brake expert or Range Rover expert we cannot comment whether any brake modifications affects the braking. We suggest that someone contacts Brembo directly to check if making such modifications would affect the brakes in any way as we do not want to be held responsible if any future problems occur with the vehicle.

Hope this info helps.
Best regards

Stephanie

If anybody has a 2nd car thats a FL2, you can now get a set of rim adapters to allow the fitting of 18" and 19" Range Rover Sport/Discovery 3 Rims

The rim adapters come with 25mm spacer too and cost £450 + VAT Shocked

You can also get a 25mm lift kit too for £390, which is useful for somebody who off roads all the time as the FL2 needs it's extra ground clearence

But the picture makes it look a little......... Top Heavy for my liking

There was a similar lift kit for the Freelander1. It was even LR approved up to 2" of lift, any more than that and the drive shafts wore out rather quickly! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Am I missing something!

To fit these 18inch rims you still have to modify the brakes, so surley if you modify the brakes then any 18 inch rims will fit

The LR RRS/LR3 specific 18" rims are made of a weaker material and hence need more thickness so they don't clear the calipers. It's not much of a modification - a small piece of alloy is turned around.

I'm not sure about the post 2006 FFRR 18" rims though - the FFRR comes with the same brakes but the LR brochure shows an 18" rim as an accessory - way more expensive than the Compomotive rim for some reason.....

Cheers.

toyers not takers?

The real world application, as shown on the Bowler website, of what the Nemesis is subjected to (with the Compomotive rims) is stuff my RRS will hopefully not be exposed Rolling Eyes Though it does demonstrate their capability to take the punishment and the wider choices of tyres for 18" rims, at this price, make this a magnificent deal!

TUV is the German equivalent of the the British Standards Institute or whatever it is now called

T = Technischer
U = Uberwachungs (there should be an umlat (two dots) above rthe U but I cannot find it in my computer!
V = Verein

According to my books it " tests the safety of technical installations, machinery and motor vehicles. All motor vehicles over three years old must have a TUV test every two years. If it fails it must be deregistered and taken off the road. The TUV also carries out safety tests on a wide range of products. If they pass the test products are allowed to carry the GS (geprufte sicherheit) seal. The independance of the TUV means that this seal is regarded as a guarantee of good quality and reliability" http://www.tuv.com/de/en/index.html 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
