2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Give them a chance - it took 30 odd years to evolve the original Land Rover in to the Defender, L322 is only 7 years old so there are another 23 to get it right for launching. Just look at the flack LR get on here for not getting DR on the RRS right 1st time round. Getting new technology right for the FFRR is even more important for a car that is almost an icon. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

According to the article this is a facelift AHEAD of the all new one 2 years later.

5L V8 with or without a supercharger (With please! Mr. Green ) plus a freshen up could just be a little too tempting..... Whistle Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad

Is L409 the one which is rumoured to look much more like the RRS? I think we've seen mockups on here before.

I suspect the all new FFRR will drive MUCH better than the current one whilst still incorporating a magic carpet ride.

How are they going to top the current FFRR interior though?

For 100k I would expect it to be like sitting in a Bentley.

Oh yeah, and for nothing to break! Confused Laughing Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad

Tim - now thats just all too logical for me - I'm a shallow car buyer who wants only NEW shiny things to play with - old and faultless is boring - new and full of problems is what I WANT!!!!!!!

And they still haven't got it right Laughing

The body/interior of the next generation FFRR, RRS etc can be all new, but they shouldn't attempt a giant technological leap with unproven technology. They should improve what they already use - it's the only way to make them reliable.
