Rear Passanger Window Audio Switch Help

Can anybody help ?

i have jsut bought a rear window and audio switch where it has a headphone socket and mode switch and replaced my existing normal switch thinking it would work, i removed my old switch thinking i will have another plug behind it, after all why make a different type of wiring loom and guess what no other plug to plug into the switch is there any fix for this.

The switch he is describing sounds to me like the audio switch in the rear on my FL2, which has mode, volume and << & >> buttons and a small headphone socket so the kids can listen to whatever via headphones.

But it doesn't have anything to do with windows

Does the RRS have something simular?

Is it possible to take a photo of the original button and the newly purchased button it may make it clearer

My RRS didn't have such a thing - just the headphone socket, but then I didn't have RSE... maybe RSE-equipped cars do, again not sure what the windows thing is all about....

Sounds to me like he replaced the rear window switches with the ones from switches from a car with rear entertainment assuming that all RRS's come out of the factory pre wired for these .

I think you also need to slide a couple of headrests with built-in LCD screen on each of your front seats for those switches to work.

Sorry, bad joke... But hey, as long as the window switches still work all those extra buttons next to them will look cool to your rear passengers, even though they don't work!
