When connecting this to the RRS aux port is the gain ok . When I connected my IPOD straight to the aux last time I needed to turn up th evolme on the RRS to over 25 to get a decent volume, ni I am not deaf!!! Chawton White TDV6 HSE with Alpaca and Rodium, Automatic Climate Control,

Yeah, that sounds like the now "discontinued" ACM kit with iPod docking cradle. Same as the original kit (part # LR004805) from last year, but with an extra wire to make it compatible with the FL/LR2 as well as Disco3 and RRS. The latest kit (without cradle, just a connector in the glove box) has a different part #. I hope that's what you get, though. If they/you ordered by part # from the catalog and the kit is no longer in stock, they may send you the new one. |

I've got the original RR kit fitted which works well, although you have to use the iPod as the controller. Having just upgraded to the new iTouch........it won't fit in the cradle as its about 4mm taller than the 'classic'.
