shao - the only issues with the V10 engine have come about due to after market tuning - I'm not aware of any untuned V10's having any problems


Well one of the guys was the ex-boss of VW who mentioned they had had a few that had just expired at around 25k miles. But maybe he meant few as in not many rather than few as in something of concern.
