So I was hoping that having a change of brand (my last 30 cars have all be VAG cars of various types) but got sick of dealer network aftersales. I figured I'll go for a prestige marque this time and things should improve, got that wrong didnt I!!!!!

Milton Keynes is dealer in question. Reason for the gripe is that they had a RRS HSE TDV6 advertised in the local paper at £22k, so I was thinking of having it as a second car to save the fight we have in the morning on who gets the keys first!!!!

Walked in, already purchased a car from them (which is a story in itself - cowboys), and could not get anyone to give me the time of day - it infurates me when you want to spend money and cant even get the opportunity.

I'm not familiar with the dealers in your area but wait a bit and someone will probably recommend one.

TBH I have found presales suprisingly poor considering the brand. Best service I had was from Peterborough by a long shot, they were excellent on sales, only reason I didnt buy from them was on price - got far more from Stratstone.

In my search though Aylesbury, Milton Keynes, Bedford and Northampton outfits were all pretty unhelfull in selling a car, and if you could get service it took some doing and then it wasnt all that.

We would be happy to help, but appreciate that we are a little distance away. On a clear Saturday morning (providing they weren't doing anything unusual in the roadworks) then we are roughly 40mins from Jcn 14 (Newport Pagnell), and that's from experience! M1 to Brent Cross, 4 miles on the North Circular and we can be found just off Hangar Lane/A40.

all our Landies in the UK where purchased and serviced by Wooburn Green LandRover in High Wycombe, 2 junctions down the M40, Wycombe East. Never had a complaint in 8 years of ownership of the LR marque with them.

What year and mileage are you getting for that - I have a 55 HSE in Zambezi with black leather you could have for £25.5K

And it is under an hour away from you ...

TBH I wasnt actively looking for a car - it was just this one seemed cheap and I know that the local place is willing to cut a good deal. Trouble is that they gotta talk to you first.
