a winch is not useful! where am i gona use a winch in london? and why buy a range sport if your a hardcore offroader?

if your attempting offroading that potentually means you need a winch, then your range sport is the wrong sort of landrover for the job! get a defender! RR Sport supercharged 06

Beg to differ, I've used the winch in London.

You don't need to be a hardcore offroader to have a winch on a RRS. If you offroad in any vehicle you should always have some way of self recovery. I could turn your comments around and say why buy a 4x4 in London when a normal estate car would do. I don't know if you've driven a RRS offroad but it is more than capable and a lot more comfortable than a Defender especially if you intend to mix offroad driving with normal road driving. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

if i had a winch on it, they'd think i was weird!
