Tried there £391 after discount including VAT, best ive seen so far is £370 from Yeovil Land Rover on EBAY aske CHLR to match but wouldn't which is a shame as i am often just down the road from them.

You say that you are just down the road from Charles Hurst? Are there multiple Charles Hursts? Granted, I migrated from the UK to Australia 15 years ago but isn't Selby in Yorkshire (or oop north soomwhere) and CHPR are in W3?

Where I live it would be considered just down the road but in the UK, its halfway up the bloody country!!

AND, you forsake our site sponsor to go somewhere else (down to the wurzels) for the sale of 21 measly quid.......Its refreshing to see the regional differences in the British character don't change much!!

I've spoken to our Parts Manager Andy who has justified to me why we can't do £370 (there's virtually no marign in it). £391 is very cheap and I'd be happy to get you a coffee and show you around if you pop in for them.

Sorry, I did try to squeeze him for more. That said £370 is cheaper and Nick is a good contributor to the forum!

I have just bought a rrs from stratstone LR and they are charging me 650 pounds for the side steps inc vat and fitting,are they taking the p ss and shall i go elsewhere anyone know where in the essex area.

The dealer will be charging you about £120 per hour. Find a LR bodyshop or non main dealer and get it done cheaper. You could also buy the steps from CHLR Sponsors Page and get member 10forcash to fit them. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
