Mrs Nick so didn't want to come to the meet that she is going with our daughter to Paris for the weekend - but I have managed to find someone who does want to come and she knows about cars which helps!

Well finally managed to get a break in the weather last night & got the Sport all nicely washed up & fuelled ready for it’s 380 mile journey tomorrow to London

So it’s off then tomorrow to catch the ferry to Fishguard, getting into London late tomorrow evening. It hasn’t been since the early nineties that I’ve driven to London, so quite the adventure awaits

Must say though I’m looking forward to the day on Saturday, hopefully the weather plays ball with us & doesn’t dump down a load of rain.

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

I'm leaving home late this afternoon and driving down to the Lake District for an overnight stop, then driving the rest of the 480 miles to the New Forest tomorrow. Hopefully the weather stays cool and damp - it keeps the grocks off the M6, even if the car gates filthy I can wash it at the village garage where I'm staying ready for Saturday.
See you at lunchtime on Saturday then!

Safe trip to everyone setting off today!

Java HST is back in the convoy having been sold (then un-sold)!

Trying to get a Bournville RRS in the showroom for Sat.... bit touch and go at the moment!

When you arrive on Saturday please let reception know your forum name so that we can make sure everyone is here before the convoy drive. We will have a cordoned off area (it will be obvious when you see it) and will have hot and cold drinks on hand. When you arrive there may be a certain amount of B ing about as we're going to try to get all the cars in a line across the forecourt for a photo opportunity (ViewWise ).

I'll then attempt to get everyone together for 1pm to then set off on a short drive.

Not long now!

Saw a Bournville D3 at my dealer the other day, though they had black cloth interior and i think it should have had cream leather and bigger wheels to make it look even better.

Very Nice colour

, though not sure if it would get me from S. Grey, or the new Lago grey
