Remember this happened to my 535? It wrecked the tyre AND the front n/s alloy... spoke to the council and they tried to discourage me from claiming as it would take funds away from more worthy causes!! Like the fact your poor quality workmanship has wrecked one of my wheels isn't a worthy cause? Censored s!

You can try mate, but they make the claim process as difficult as possible. The bloke I spoke to on the phone even tried to dissuade me as he said, if we pay out on these sort of claims, it means we can't spend it on other more useful things.... not the way to speak to someone who's just done £600 of damage to his car Rolling Eyes

Jay, don't take any bull about them needing the money for the new street light outside the Lord mayors house or to give to those single mothers who make love to other women or whatever........................ might be worth a visit a no win no fee "APJ Bloomer " type solicitor (the crowd who seem to have bought all the ad time on Classic FM!). If it was a bad enough hole to wreck a tyre then you will also need to get your suspension geometry checked and bill them for the loss of your only car for the day as well (remember you need an ALPINA 7 series for your work Laughing ) otherwise you will be wearing out tyres at a faster rate than you already do on that machine. They can only tell you to F**K off. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

JayMann that pothole may have been my fault Embarassed I only pay 40% income tax which doesn't seem to be enough to pay for potholes on top of lcd tv's for council houses which is deemed, and i quote, "essential household equipment for families with children under 12 years old as associated education ancillaries" why an lcd screen is required and a big old tv wont do I dont know!

To further Censored me off I was in a shop earlier waiting for a woman to finish her moaning that she cant afford to feed her kids because she doesnt get enough free money from the tax payers......she made my blood boil by finishing with "anyway Sandra, gotta rush, 60 Lambert & Butlers please!!!!!""""

Tis a terrible thing to be "under-priviliged " Jonny - I don't even have a TV so have a greater need than you if you have one already.........

Round here the council bought an Oyster80 sail boat for the kids from the cooncil estates as they never got the opportunity to go sailing - which made them just about equal to 95% of the rest of the population who don't get to go sailing. To get on this thing you had to have a string of court appearances, be a dopehead, be an juvenile alcoholic................................... or a somebody who worked high up in the council when you got to "charter" this £3million boat for £20 a week during the school holidays. The boat is now sitting rotting on a mooring after it was found that only 20 kids were taken sailing on it and the rest of the year it was used by council officials for jollies in the Canaries and Caribbean in the season (oh and the tax payers were also paying for them to fly out to the boat wherever it was based as they were alledgedly "supervising" delinquents on a jolly too) 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

We house a lot of the above.. they feel that society owes them everything..
The council pay 80% of their rent, and they have a 'top up' payment to make, £20-40 a month depending on their circumstances, which we rarely ever get (don't even chase it anymore..).

Go to the properties, and guess what, leather sofa's, lcd telly's on the wall, sky box, designer chav clothes on themselves and their kids.. and a lip full of.. we can't afford this/that.. waht do you think, we're made of monay..

Oh well.. we'll get there eventually..
