I think the intake has reasonably high velocity, what with the modified supercharger drive, gas-flowed inlet ports and an itg air filter!! Whistle

its the oem intake... not high velocity. when I rev my engine you can hear the air being sucked in through the intake. yes it has a S/C, but its missing that key element of a aftermarket intake. The oem filters restrict so much... There will be very nice one comming out soon that connects to the vent ports. I'll have pics soon

current intake=garbage compared to whats comming

Hmmm, at first sight this looks like something KaleCo Auto might market! One wonders why it has not been tried before, but I suppose they said that about the first diaper pin! I never heard of it, but I have just texted Jon Douglas, boss of ITG Filters to see what he thinks/knows and will let you know his comments
Thumbs Up

Meanwhile, we are looking at this http://www.autoblog.com/2006/05/05/big-boo...ercharger/

its more than the filter, you need tubing to replace the old stuff and the adapters for the MAF sensor etc. Do they do all that?

Just wait till this new one comes out, its pretty sick.

will be manufactured by http://www.weapon-r.com/english/index.php?...mp;cPath=9

thats pretty cool, but I have an HSE... interesting on the effiency.

Indeed they do! ITG is "Induction Technology Group" who supply Renault F1 and Sauber-BMW F1 among others.

For Gruppenfuhrer Martin's benefit I have no association with ITG whatsoever, in fact I used to think they were crap and only used them on my race car (see avatar) coz I got them free!! So, what do I know?! I can just about distinguish a piece of tube and other similar high-tech components, however. Cool

What exactly are you doing here? All you seem to do is break the rules: carry out commercial promotion for your company, and insult me and the moderators.

You've already said that RRS owners aren't your company's target market, so why are you on RRSPORT? Like this site? Buy some RRSPORT goodies to show your support!

who was that directed at?

I'm just having a company develop a part for RRS owners, I'm not making one cent off it. Just furthing the technology for owners to upgrade their engines.
