The G4's came to visit.

Some G4 Landies came to visit my local dealer on Friday, needless to say I went along camera in hand.

Here’s a couple of pics I thought I’d share……

All three were Diesel, which threw me a bit, as I had thought all G4's were petrol.

The RRS & D3 were HSE's Cool

No, only the three pictured. Is there a G4 FFRR ??

How about the Freelender, is there a G4 version of that ??

I seem to recall the previous version Freelander either being in Camel or G4 spec.

Or am I dreaming ???

You know I don't actually know, sorry Embarassed Embarassed

I've been thinking about that since yesterday & I wonder was it a V8.

I've looked to see if any of my "arty shots" of the front wing, show the brake calipers, but they don't. So I don't know if it had Brembos or not. Which might give another clue.

I've been trying to convince "Mrs Rupert" all weekend, that we wouldn't look like plonkers driving around in a G4, but without much sucess, I'm afraid Sad

I clearly spend too much time surfing - there was a G4 FFRR as shown here:

You're not dreaming, here is the G4 version:

The Camel version from '98 is shown here, apparently driven by two Spanish ladies in that years comp:

TDV6 or TDV8?

If its a TDV8 then I'd probably be just behind you in the queue.

Surprised the G4 RRS shown is on 20" wheels and with no underbody protection.

For now I just want the expo rack with the lights fitted.... There was some press coverage of Prince Harry in Africa this week "on charitable work" and LR had obvioulsy donated a fleet of D3's that I noticed had the expo rack with lights fited. So they must be available from somewhere as these were not G4 cars?!
