Don't have SkyHD, just Sky+... but they seem to change the LNB on the dish everytime a new service comes out. To that end, I think the dish is the same but has a different LNB? Not sure though... |

so if you need a new LNB, the FreesatHD TV's may not be much use without the extra cost of a LNB upgrade? (they upgraded my LNB to give 2 cables to the sky+ box) |

the only reason the LNB gets changed is to add extra supplies - i.e. a Standard Sky box has a single port LNB, Sky+ has 2 ports and then if you add Sky Multiroom you need either 3 of 4. You dont need a different LNB for HD over SD |

not really - it can be done however its not as simple as splitting the signal like normal RF signals - go for a separate cable from your dish |

Go for the Pioneer because it has one of the best plasma´s quality of TV and it also has the best picture/color among plasma TV´s. Regarding the extended warranty take it because the TV are not build as they were in the past and a minor think can cost you a lot... 2008 RRS TDV8 HSE, Java black, Alpaca,..... |

I'll throw in a vote for LCD over plasma. I have a 46" Sony Bravia XBR 1080p LCD, and it is fantastic. |
