Rather than my head eh VA Wink

Taste is a personal thing RRUK the alpacca makes the car a lot lighter and gives contrast, combining that with the piano black extras will look Cool If you are going to take the car offroad forget the steps they just bend up, if you want extra lights forget the LR ones, go for lightforce ones or you won't see them. Not sure how easy it is to get mud out of the light guards and they don't really offer any protection. If you like your car very quiet forget the snorkel too as you get extra wind noise.

If you have dogs or kids get rear aircon I wouldn't be without it, the fridge is a waste of time, having the new ipod adapter is probably a good choice. Rear load liner is a must too.

The only changes that are coming is the 3.0 TDV6 but that is more about emissions from what I understand. Oh and you don't need any lucky white heather Wink Porsche Cayenne S Diesel 66 Plate

You'll have a proper country car with a D3 with a tailgate you can sit on for elevensies on shoot days or a viewing platform for point to pointing or hunting, which was always a RRS's failing in many peoples' eyes not just JC Porsche Cayenne S Diesel 66 Plate

...which RRUK already has with his FFRR.

Is this a major consideration/concern? I think it is a great design feature but not sure how much I would use it on a day to day basis. Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad

I know plenty of people who wouldn't buy a RRS because of that fact; it really depends on your lifestyle and hobbies. Probably seems madness if that isn't your world, but LR missed a trick with the Sport. You wouldn't be influence either way, but lots of sales went D3 or FFRR way because of it. Porsche Cayenne S Diesel 66 Plate

In that photo there are two P38 Range Rovers to the left, mine and yes a FFRR SC in silver. That was the offroad foray which wrecked my 2nd set of those 20" alloys! The same size rims on the FFRRSC didn't sustain a scratch! Evil or Very Mad

The only reason I would have another Sport would be if they put a FFRR style split tailgate on it. I also found it annoying not having one, they are eternally useful.

Also, on a shoot day if I had the back open people would come and sit on the back bumper and quite often their welly buckles would scratch the paint on the bumper. Not good. Big Cry

Tailgates are good for picnics, refuelling the chainsaw on a level platform, standing on, carrying passengers around the farm on a shoot day, tackling up when out fishing, cleaning the rifle after a quick foray..the list goes on and on Very Happy L319 D4 HSE

Welcome to "Country Ways" with RRUK Wink

I do none of the above, but can see how it can be useful. Friend of mine who has an FFRR uses his tailgate a lot too... also as a launch pad for his dogs to jump at you Wink

It's not just the tailgate which are useful though, the bonnet can also be a dining or drinks table... Very Happy

I'm not the only one!! NP it is very difficult to stand on the 3" ledge of a bumper and impossible to picnic properly. When you stand on the tailgate the top half is shut BTW Porsche Cayenne S Diesel 66 Plate
