Door Sills Not Staying?

I got some Tasmod SS Door Sills.

I peeled off the tape and stuck it on the plastic after cleaning it off. It doesn't seem to stick solid...anyone else have this problem? Only certain parts stick.

The glue used on the back of the Tasmods is normally quite the opposite, such that you have to be very careful when fitting them to get them in the right place. Did you prep the sill surfaces beforehand to make sure they were clean and grease-free etc? If not, drop Rob a PM and he will be able to advise Very Happy

I cleaned it off with 50/50 mix of distilled water and vinegar. I then dried it with a lint free towel before sticking it on. I think it has more to do with the surface of the plastic that I'm trying to put the sills on. It's got grooves in them so not all of the adhesive is touching the plastic...does that make sense?
