Oh dear, that is not good. Just have a check around the rest of it though, because I have a silver D3 that has, over a couple of years, collected rather a lot of specks in the paint that look like rust spots. These are in fact ( I believe) metallic brake particles of other (and mine probably) vehicles that seem to have stuck firmly in the paint,(mainly on the doors and tailgates). They are an absolute swine to remove. Wouldn't want you to go in guns blazing if it's this problem, which I think all vehicles are prone to these days. Good Luck. Did have a good look round but its the only side to have it on.
