noise at 1500-2200 revs
i get a noise at about 1500 to 2200 revs when drivein under load, sounds like the turbo but not sure
rrs 2.7td 55plate. anyone got same prob! need help doin my head in
had engine down load and its still the same.
dealers say because its got a stainless steel exhaust system fitted,they will have to replace it with standerd one, but this will be chargable! it made the noise before i fitted stainless exhaust, helpppppppppppp

if its a whistle type noise, could be the turbo starting to spin / apply boost at these revs. Turbos' are spinning all the time, but its at these revs they really start to work / apply pressure. The non OEM exhaust will not help matters.
If the noise sounds like bearings whinning then you have a problem...

its has thowe the air is not goin out of the turbo properly its when its just boostin ,then when i let off and hold abt 2000revs the noise is there constant
