Read it and weep

Switzerland - unleaded 92p, diesel £1.02
Spain - unleaded £1, diesel 94p
Austria - unleaded £1.02, diesel £1.01
Sweden - unleaded £1.11, diesel £1.27
Italy - unleaded £1.15, diesel £1.15
UK - unleaded £1.16, diesel £1.29
Germany - unleaded £1.19, diesel £1.12
France - unleaded £1.24, diesel £1.22
Denmark - unleaded £1.28, diesel £1.32
Netherlands - unleaded £1.29, diesel £1.15
Belgium - unleaded £1.30, diesel £1.18
Norway - unleaded £1.40, diesel £1.45

You forgot one on your list Will

Diesel is running around 1.40 Eur (£1.10) a litre here in Ireland.

Not sure about Unleaded though, but is around 1.35 Eur per ltr.

Ahem! We are in Europe too you know!

EuroDiesel here is €1.18 (Roughly 94p per ltr)

95 U/L is €1.12 (c. 89.5p per ltr)

Spent 3 yrs in Norway before the US ... and the babes dont look like that ... need to move to Sweden or Denmark for that action ... Norge its all Lutefisk and Polse hotdogs Oh and by that time you wont be able to afford a RRS anyway as income tax is 50% and cars are approx x2 the price in the UK ...

But then again fuel maybe expensive but you can only go 50mph on the main roads Brit across the Pond

Well, I did the unthinkable tonight............I went out and bought 150 litres of fuel for stockpiling Had a mad moment and got some incredible looks from the forecourt monkey........filled 4 x 20 litre Jerries, 1 x 10 litre Jerry and 12 x 5 litre plasticky cans.........total cost, an eye watering £176.85

I still have to fill the tank of the HST and Freeloader yet.......ANOTHER £175.00

The reason: some County idiot (promoted from Village) decided to ring a local radio station to advise of the impending fuel shortages due to the Shell strike (BTW Shell only supply 10% of UK SS).......outcome - total panic. I queued for 35 mins.

..........I am still slapping myself for being sucked into a 5 second madness moment......but hey, if anyone wants some nice £117.9p a litre fuel........no doubt it will be more tomorrow
