discounted car paint correction detail

Just been on to a detailing forum i pop along to

A company who has been let down is offering a full paint correction detail for £250 on normal cars (not 4x4)

Only has a few places left, might be worth it to any member who live in the SG12 area (or within 40miles)

I don't know him etc etc, just thought it was a good offer, for maybe your 2nd car/wifes car etc and i live too far away Big Cry

Full detail, including paint correction to get paintwork looking at its best.
Includes the removal of swirl marks and holograms, Super-premium carnauba wax used for protection.

* 18 stage two-bucket wash using 100% sheepskin mitts
* Wheels cleaned, front, back and inside, with P21s ‘gentle’ wheel gel
* Wheel arches cleaned by hand and protected
* Paintwork decontamination with clay, to remove bonded contaminants
* Hand dried using ultra soft microfibre towels
* Paint thickness measured using electronic coating gauge
* Full documentation of paint thicknesses and condition
* Paint correction process, using light abrasive polishes by machine
* Paintwork cleansed with pre-wax treatment to aid the bonding of wax
* Two coats of super-premium high carnauba wax to all painted surfaces
* Or Three coats of Zaino Z2 paint sealant
* Chrome and stainless steel trim cleaned and polished
* Engine bay cleaned and polished by hand
* Wheels waxed with PTFE/wax/sealant coating
* Tyres cleaned and dressed with rubber preserver
* Windows cleaned and polished, inside and out
* Door seals and rubbers treated
* Exterior glass treated with water repellent treatment

I had a chat with some one on DW and he said he'll do my RRS for £200 guess he don't do as much as this guy then? RRS TDV6 Gone but still around

i suppose it depends on overheads too, if it was just a local semi pro detailer doing it as a hobby you might get the same done. But make sure he has liability cover or it will be expensive if he does something wrong

I've never priced it up yet for my FL2, i don't think the paint work is too bad, and stornaway grey make things not so visible, like my old black cars swirls.

Just saw it offered and he only has 3 spaces left it says further on in the post

the above company does say the price is £250 for cars (not 4x4 covered in mud) but they say that price is included travel upto 40 miles

Google says your only 30 miles away from SG12, you might be able to get them to come to your house and do it there whilst your away, Paying the extra due to it been a 4x4

might be worth a phone call as normally they charge £325 for cars

yea i thought about it, and decided since i dont have the time to wash the car myself ill let it get a little worse before i get it detailed. Its only 2 months old!. Thats obviously if sunday goes to plan Laughing .

I would look at getting a set of cheap waterproof covers and a anorak as the forcast is light rain here in Leeds
