Has anyone used a magnetic ski rack on the RRS?

If yes, whats your opinion about it...? Is it a good alternative to the OEM ski rack? RRS TDV8 HSE Java Black

i haven't got one myself, but i have seen and spoken to some otherswho have used them and they give them top marks.

And they are a little lower to the car than the ones that fix to the roof bars.

Though i would check if the roof is magnetic before purchasing them, as WW pointed out it might be aluminium

Hi,
I have used one. the roof is def' not aluminium!!!!

works fine and leaves you more space inside!
