You must have been going downhill! You'll eventually average between 12 and 14 mpg (US gallons) city, 17 and 20 on open highways. I drive a fairly even mix of congested city and highway miles here in SoCal, and have been fairly steady at around 15/16 mpg for a long time. S/C engines do a little worse, but not much worse if you don't gun it all the time. |
