Martin, is that the UK version of the 50th anniversay NAS 90" Defender?

The NAS version was a limited edition V8, only available in Canary Yellow.

I remember a colleague at work driving one down the Coventry Road past Birmingham airport late at night and the Police pulled him over. He had a bit of a panic attack, wondering what he had done wrong.

The Police just wanted to have a look ! They had heard loads of rumours about the "pocket rocket" and wanted a look for themselves. Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Yep.. i agree.. Jayman you've hit the nail on the head. i would look like a poof driving one of them down the beach..
Much prefer the defender version, much more macho..

TB, where abouts are you from? seems we are very close to one another...
I am refurbing a house very close to the cov road, right near the land rover site, was there this morning in my old mans volvo and saw a transporter leaving with loads of RRS HSE's on the back, all with SC alloys..

Nope, it's my 1988 90 Very Happy

Former hard top 'van':

Converted by me to a NAS-esque soft top in 2000, fitted by me with a Td5 driveline in Summer 2002 Mr. Green

I'm a bit of a Defender anorak so know all about the NAS and 50th V8 Defenders Cool Like this site? Buy some RRSPORT goodies to show your support!
