Does this sound logical and acceptable - in particular is a 5,800kg force going to be enough to free the RRS should it become bogged down? Also am I correct in assuming I need to get recovery cables and loops that break at greater than 5,800kg in order to ensure I don't damage the car should a greater force be transferred in an attempted recover? |

You are unlikely to get rope or straps with lower breaking strains than 5.8t. I use Black Rat ones that are 14t, the last thing you want is a rope or shackle giving up. Porsche Cayenne S Diesel 66 Plate |
