Left Hand Drive to Right

Is this possible? I see so many cheap RRS in the US but they are all left hand drive. Thanks,
Lewis

anythings possible at a price, however I'd imagine its a lot cheaper and less of a headache just to buy a RHD version - save your time and money and just save for the price gap imo

I think you'd be asking for a lot of headaches, plus consider the cost/value over the whole cycle of ownership - i.e. resale etc

Cool thanks.

I've been looking around on some of the UK autotraders and some are going very very cheap. Thanks,
Lewis

United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Rimini Red

Just out of interest, I have been helping a Czech chap buy up old RHD Discoveries and Defenders in the UK recently. He then takes these back to Prague and converts then to LHD (apparently that has to be done to get valid registration in Czech). He reckons 2 full days work per vehicle to do the conversion with the only expensive new part being a steering box and certain parts of the dash board. Most parts are designed to be interchangeable between LHD and RHD as that hugely cuts down on manufacturing costs. So I wouldn't rule out being able to convert a more modern vehicle, although suspect with all of the electrics and air bags, the task would need very specialist input. RRS TDv8 HSE Rimini

I was considering purchasing a USA car as they are much cheaper even than here in Dubai. One major problem for me is the Sat Nav. The system fitted to USA cars is in some way incompatible with European cars. After a lot of research into the subject, I received a reply from Landrover Diplomatic Sales who confirmed that European maps cannot be loaded into USA cars. So if the sat nav feature is important to you and I guess it is, then there is a lot of additional expense there having a new system fitted.

Cheers,

should you decide to buy one from the US,
