I'm spending Whitsun Week up in Yorkshire with my family and a few friends and their families again.
Each year all of us blokes have a "Lads Day Out". For the last couple of years we have been quadbiking in the Dalby Forest, but after wrapping an almost brand new quad bike around a tree a couple of years ago, I got the impression we were not really welcome last year. Although the owner was still happy to accept the two hundred and odd quid we handed over for a couple of hours entertainment.
Anyway, a couple of the guys who drive series two Disco's have said that they would like to try their hands at a bit of off roading for a change. So my question is simple: Apart from Langdale Quest, does anyone know of anywhere I can take these fairly inexperienced drivers for a bit of fun? I don't want to have to travel too far so I am looking for venues in the York, Scarborough or Whitby areas.
I did Langdale Quest in a Freelander about four years ago and although it was fun at the time I don't think it would pose the same kind of challenge to the RRS. Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Aspen Leather, Cherry Wood, Privacy Glass, PTI, Tow Pack, Mudflaps, Tasmods, a new Fuelflap, a RRSport.co.uk umbrella in the boot & a RRSport.co.uk sticker on the rear glass.
