Ayates, we would happily pay even $5 a gallon if we could....I know gone are the days of $1 gallons, but believe me even at just over $3 you guys have it easy.....

There is, finally a good reason to move to the Middle East..... Thumbs Up

you lads could always sign up on the petitiiion that the haulage industry has started, the more the merrier.

Can't do any harm and hopefully will do some good.

The current rate of fuel is causing major casualties in the haulage industry and will most certainly have a knock on effect in people's pockets.

No offense, but I fear the U.K. is what the U.S. will be in 5-10 years. In terms of taxation, social programs, and the whole nanny state that is. I can see our sales tax (VAT) to near 17.5% and gas prices soar due to taxes.

I saw diesel at 132p/litre yesterday not 100metres from another garage selling it at 121p/litre.

In September 1990 petrol broke the 50p/litre barrier, so in 18 years I suppose it has only just doubled in price. Does that fact cheer anyone up? NO! Crying or Very sad Gone - 2008 TDV8, Stornoway Grey, ebony, zabrano trim, TV, Tasmods, mudflaps.
