Nope. Local Jag dealer offered me an elongated test drive, so I said yes!! Little did they know that my house is only accessible via a very long and windy dust track with a grass middle....let's just say the underside got a tad scraped!! ...................all those months of the 3 tonne monsters going up and down the track Very nice car the Jag, but it would have to be a S/C version, if of course I was ever looking to get something down on the ground....which i'm not!! Went out in the 6.3 AMG taxi, oops sorry, E-class today...... quick.....4.8 secs and handled brilliantly.....shame everyone expects you to pick them up as a fare though L322 Big Daddy SUPERCHARGED 5.0 Autobiography - Here & Now! 5 series for the miles RRS S/C factory built HST - Gone 45 others have been and gone! |

I agree, however unfortunately most people associate, as they do with the RRS......... Mercedes E63 517 big horses, looks nice etc etc - 1st few comments when I went to both the pub AND work this morning (unfortunately, not at the same time!!) was "oh, a fast taxi" or "private hire companies must be doing well"....... pretty much as we get "oh no, it's a drug dealer".......... Naturally a mentality thing, but these comments come from professional, well to do people who have big budgets for cars..........in fact, the sole reason 2 people at work who had saved for their ultimate Mercs, sold them within a few months of ownership......sad, but very true. They now ride around in glorified Mondeo's, I mean 3 series BMW's....see, even i'm at it now!!
