Nothing gay about black - something very queer about blue though......But mate don't worry, I'm sure it looks black at night time....and the £23,000 discount you got on it because it is Navy Blue was very much worth the complete and utter stupid and crazy idea of buying a N A V Y B L U E RRS.....and you need is some lino for carpet mats, and some grey flannel seat covers and you're all set...

I actually like the interior you need side steps on there asap though, the best mod per £ if you ask me....and you did ask by means of starting an open thread!

Mine is a FFRR project kahn Conversion no 89, java black with all the goodies, at that time they didn't had stage 1 and stag 2 conversions I will post some pics later, I trully like your interior, and the fact that its a project kahn speaks to people insiders know how to appreciate it |

I have been thinking long and hard about side steps, interestingly enough all the old pictures of kahn range rover sports had side steps and now all the pictures are without them. Some pictures even look like they have just been airbrused out!! The side steps seem to get mixed reviews on this forum, some people like them and some people really dont! I am still unsure. |

The other thing to know about the interior is that the leather is a better quality than the standard LR's. Also when Kahn take out the old leather they add extra padding to the seats. This is noticable in the front and even more so in the back which seems to be rather firm for both the FFRR and the sport. Sure you can back me up on that Havank as a fellow owner or kahn The push button - It does indeed have a normal key in the ignition and like all the other range rovers the 0, 1, and 2 positions are the same and have the same functions as basic electrics and aircon etc for pos 2. you cant turn the car over with the key tho, turning it to start it does nothing... the key just turns in that direction a bit.... The key has to be at position 2 and then you press the button to start the car... the key however has to be used to turn off the car... the button doesnt turn it off. |

Sorry “OP’s Sport” is an acronym for “Original Poster's Sport” as you made the original post on this thread, so you’re the “Original Poster" & it’s your RRS we’re talking about. If that makes any sense at all…… I think perhaps I’ve been spending way too much time on internet forums & am almost speaking in acronyms in real life by now.
I’m not sure The SC side vents are a kinda chrome effect plastic on the horizontal bars & mesh, with a grey surround. Whereas the standard vents are a grey plastic in all parts of the vent. I’ve the SC vents, with Java colour coded surrounds, which do look exactly like your vents. But I only have one photo in my gallery of my new RRS “Jack” which doesn’t really show the vents in great detail or close up. So I’ll take a better pic tomorrow & upload it. Then we can compare notes properly |
