Well VA if it’s any consolation to you, we here on this “wonderful” ( ) island of ours already pay a whopping Eur 1,067 annually to tax a D3 or RRS, that’s approx £843.00 Sterling.

However it get's worse in July this year, any D3 or RRS registered after the 1st of July will suffer a price hike of Eur 933 (£737.00 Stg) leaving us with an annual road tax bill of Eur 2,000 or £1,580 Stg for our D3’s & Sports

As per usual with this bunch of Plonkers it's sneaked through afterwards or buried in the small print. I had a suspicion the car tax would hit more people than they indicated in the budget headlines. TDV6 - gone

It's going to devalue a whole load of used cars out there as people aren't going to want to buy an old car that has just been dumped into a higher tax bracket. Use it as a stick with which to beat people who want to buy a polluting NEW car, but don't punish the people who've been there and done it already.

And that's just it. What the in Westminster seem blinded by is the fact that not everyone lives in London and that outside of major cities, public transport is plain awful or as in most peoples cases, non existent, therefore presenting "the public" with no option BUT to use a car.

The quicker the British people wake up and vote a.n. other (which currently do not exist ) and dump this repetitive cycle of the big 3 getting into power, the better as far as I am concerned. It is the only way things will change. ..............and that's coming from one of Maggies children.

By my reckoning, current options offer no real change or differences:

1. Brown - we are all completely
2. Cameron - his green bandwagon antics will just be a reinvention of what we already have - so no change
3. Lib Dem bloke (whoever that is.....they have no chance anyway) - might aswell crush your car now....they WILL be even more adventurous using the so called "climate tax"

What we need:

1. Close borders - today
2. Scrap NHS
3. Scrap this Congestion charge horse sheet...same goes for the LEZ...christ, they even have the cheek to put them up aside T5 at Heathrow.........just another slap in the face and a continuation of this gov't treating us all as 3rd rate pikies

...........the list is endless and i'm too tired.....I have to get up in the morning to go to work and feed my tank it's morning unleadybrek.......oh and give Gordon 40% straight from my pay packet and then some more by buying everythingt else.
