I have a winch fitted to my RRS - basically you have to get the whole kit via LR unless you're lucky enough to find the winch mount on ebay, I did it this way but haven't seen one on ebay for ages. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Did you use the spacer to get around having to remove the harmonic damper Have you noticed any problem with the wheel arches Russell. "UNDERSTEER" ----is when you hit the fence with the front of the car. "OVERSTEER" ------is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car. "HORSEPOWER" ----is how fast you hit the fence. "TORQUE" -----------is how far you take the fence with you. |

He probably doesn't have the Brembos as he has the 4.4 V8.

Great pics Tim, but they wont fit the TDV8 for the reasons already mentioned etc - someone earlier was going to get some pics of some Compomotive ones that were supposedly on a TDV8 with Brembo's that were 18 inch wheels "UNDERSTEER" ----is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.

I saw them too when the thread was new. They weren't on a TDV8 they were on an SC.

Compomotive themselves say they fit. Still trying to get hold of the guy who posted the original pics on rangerovers.net. |

Bowler have said that they dont fit unless you take off the Harmonic Dampers and they advise not to do this for several reasons - see Matts post on here. Also, Compomotive told me back call Bowler as they aint supposed to sell them, did not have any and were not sure if they did fit or not!!! I would still like to see the wheels mentioned earlier in this thread to see what they actually were. "UNDERSTEER" ----is when you hit the fence with the front of the car. "OVERSTEER" ------is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car. "HORSEPOWER" ----is how fast you hit the fence. "TORQUE" -----------is how far you take the fence with you. |

pod states in his thread that he turned the weights around in his calipers, after which they did fit. |
