What happens if you have to replace a tyre? You have to replace the Protex too? If you get a puncture, and it's "sealed" by Protex I'd be very wary of driving on that tyre much more....

No shmoogle it says that it seals the tyre for it's legal life. Sealing in each puncture as long as it isn't in the tyre wall, as puncture can't be repaired in tyre walls. Looks good but don't things always look good.

Hmm, I see that... even so, I don't know as if I trust these sorts of things. A repair's a repair however it's done and you've lost the original structure of the tyre. Personally, I wouldn't trust it but if you want to go for it, then I hope it works out for your tyres! Are you planning to get lots of punctures? Wink

In the brochure also says that if you have a blowout the tyre will seal and deflate slowly. As i say too good to be true. MDP I think you would see the Protex as it seals in a bright green colour by the looks of it.

Considering i was thinking of paying £199.00 to have the tyre insurance this protex is only £80.00 for the 4 tyres.

No!!! considering I have only had my SC for 3 days I think I will need new tyres befroe I get a puncture it's a beast!!!!
