I have just been reading a post and noticed one member being covered by Saga insurance. I was wondering what the differences are cost wise for car insurance betweeen members!

Have a look in the back of the owners manual there are copies of a heap of the test certificates reproduced there, one of them may be the Thatcham accreditation cert. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Cheers Tim, I never thought to look there. I called LRand the Dealer but both said they dont provide a certificate as its a standard FF item. M&S said its a standard request they have. I think they hope 15 is small enough to not bother about as they take it automatically from the card used for the premium after a number of daysif the certificate is not provided. |

LR Insurance also ask if the car has a Thatcham approved alarm system...................... strange as they have the full specs of the vehicles anyway! They are absolutely convinced that my 1996MY Defender has a Thatcham alarm and I wrote and told that no it doesn't - I got a nice letter back saying thanks for advising us of the modification to your vehicle................................... thing is it has never had an alarm or immobliser since it left the factory, but if it's in the computer then it must be right! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
