Im glad that the price is very good for you , you are getting what most tuners will do which is a remap.

I think you missunderstand my post about the advise im giving you regarding live mapping.
You are getting a remap NOT a live mapping session.

Live mapping is where a data emulator is connected directly to the ecu and changes are made while the engine isrunning.
Live mapping CAN NOT be done by the OBD diagnostic port, the chq sum calculations needed for the changes inside the mapping are not fast eniough by OBD tokeep the engine running which is why an emulator is needed.

LIVE mapping can only be done on these ECUs with Etas Inca and the correct cables attached to the ecu. See my ecu picture attached.

If he is going to do this to your ecu then you may be getting a real live mapping session.
Live mapping is where valuse and data is changed inside the ecu WHILE the engine is running.

In all honsesty i cant see anyone in there right mind spending 10-20k GBP on tools for the live mapping of ecus and selling a remap for 200gbp.

If you are getting a real live map, then you are getting a stonking deal.

I may be wrong and there is a cheaper cable available , but i very much doubt it.

Im sure the said it was a live map plugged into the ECU. but no matter its not an F1 car so any improvement is fine by me and at that price it cant be bad!

I am very happy with the results though Very Happy so I shouldn't complain - any one know why there is so much of a difference. Perhaps D-tech can explain as I had mine done with them.
