confusion of interior colour choice!!

I have on order an RRS TDv6 HSE in Java Black with Alpaca leather interior. Well, at least I hope that's what I'll get!!!. Interestingly, on the order form it states 'ebony/alpaca' interior. Where does the ebony come from ? is their an ebony trim on the alpaca seating? On the LR website, the interior colour section it illustrates ebony and alpaca seperately. Yet, on their 'build your own' section it lists alpaca as ebony/alpaca!!!!

I definitely want Alpaca, but accordi8ng to my order form could I end up with Ebony ? Confused

I think the alpaca applies to the roof lining and door pillar trim. Its out there somewhere. Second V10 Treg on the drive at the moment.

I think the dash and centre console will be ebony and the seats alpaca. Malaysia Boleh!

Typically the first colour mentioned is the seats and the second colour is the carpets. Therefore this would mean you will have Ebony seats and the Alpaca carpets and trim.

However, on the LR build your vehicle if you select Alpaca leather it says the seats are alpaca and the trim/carpets are Ebony/Alpaca.

I don't think you have anything to worry about!. L319 D4 HSE

Sorry but I have to correct you guys. Ebony (black) seats always come with ebony carpets and ebony interior.

Alpaca seats however come with ebony carpets and ebony/alpaca interior.

Let me add to the confusion.

Alpaca is definitely the seat colour. Ebony/Alpaca interior means the top portion of the dash (above the air-vents) will be black (ebony). The centre console, interior door handle and some other little items will also be black. The lower half of the dash (below the air-vents) and door panels will be alpaca colour.

Then there's the question of carpets. Two choices - (1) with alpaca carpets and cherry wood and (2) with ebony carpets and lined oak(probably only available with SC 1st Edition?).

You've not mentioned the finish - is it Rhodium finish?

Just to add to the confusion - I have a Java Black TDv6 that has Alpaca seats, Alpaca door trims (with no wood), Alpaca headlining and window trims, Alpaca centre console with black Lined Oak and ebony carpets.

Looks great, but I have a suspicion this may not be standard (unless you know better....).

Cheers

Peter

On the test drive vehicle I drove on Friday, interior was Ebony with silver bits round the fascia and on the door. Is this standard does anyone know or can you specify wood with ebony ?

Does anyone have a picture interior of ebony, but showing the wood trim option - did not see any in the gallery?

thks,
Smudge

Go to LR's website and under interior you'll find a pic of ebony seats with cherry wood.
