The computer is only approximate anyway - mine shows a stable 27.5 MPG in and out of West London but measuring the fuel put into the tank shows 26MPG. And there can be 1 or 2 miles difference between the trip meter and the main Odometer as well over a tank full of petrol from full to empty. 2016 RRS 4.4 TDV8 Autobiography Dynamic in Montalcino Red and Stealth Kit |

be carefull about posting such pics, the speed limit is 70mph on motorways... you have just shown your self to be breaking the law and you have have stated that you took the picture while using your mobile phone while driving. |

What you mean this picture mate? Not quite 35mpg.. but back in nov 05.. i think this was the record!? I was proving a point to my dad.. basically, were on a 'family' trip and he filled the range up, he didn't like the range very much when i first got it.. and said it was a gas guzzler, he put i think £50 of juice in it. I drove from Solihull - Guildford and then to watford, exiting watford i had a range of around 86 miles and a fuel range of 60 miles if i remember right. So basically i drove with light toes all the way back up the M40.. got back into solihull to the first petrol pump (on fumes!!).. and managed to get this reading.. nearly fell asleep whilst doing this, driving at 56 mph is hardly envigorating late at night on an open empty road!
