If someone plasters your car with stickers and lets the tyres down that constitutes criminal damage! Evil or Very Mad

What half these dimwits don't realise is that the Hippie Loved 2CV or Old VW Beatle & VW Camper that 1/2 these people drive around in are actually doing more damage to the environment than a modern 4x4!

They'll be out protesting that we should be sticking corks in the arses of cattle next!! Shocked - after all it's cattle farts that are the biggest contributor to greenhouse gasses!! Rolling Eyes 2013 Discovery HSE Luxury - 3.0 SDV6 - Santorini Black

I've no issue with people protesting PEACEFULLY....but since when was letting down tyres and causing potential damage a peaceful protest?

I also wonder how many of these eco warriors have central heating or coal fires or use plastic bags from the supermarkets which ship goods from all over the world?

Fortunately, not living in a city, I don't have to put up with these idiots trying to disrupt my life.... Rolling Eyes . Current: I can't say...Oh the Shame!

The dealer found it necessary to charge me a CO2 offset figure and affixed a sticker in recognition of this fact on my windscreen, he made the not so PC statement:

"It keeps the tree-huggers at bay!"

Brilliant Thumbs Up

Reference the hippie wagonscausing more damage I completely agree, a point well worth making, not to mention the 3 and a half billion Rizzlas that the world's combined hippie population burn through!!!!

Excuse my ignorance............................. what effect will putting mung beans under the wheels have to a 4x4 with TC and all the traction in the world? I hope they are organic beans that haven't been transported to the UKby any menas whatsoever otherwise their foodmiles will be just as polluting as a 747 leaving LHR (well more polluting than the BA plans not leaving LHR!)
It's a waste of good mung beans that could feed the starving Somalis if you ask me.... 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Quote from the article (my bolding)………......

Gas guzzling cars are just as culpable as planes when it comes to destroying the planet."

Gas Guzzling…….this annoys me no end Mad

That’s a term imported form the U.S. where they have massive petrol engines. At least around here, 99% of SUVs are diesel. (not sure about the UK though.)

”No one in London needs a massive 4x4 and we're simply going to point this out.”

Agreed, but many Want a 4x4 & the last time I checked it was a free society Rolling Eyes

“Mr Livingstone said: "I have every sympathy for a Scottish hill farmer who needs his 4x4 to get around. But there is absolutely no justification for cars producing high amounts of pollution being driven in central London.”

Again, because people want to, last time I checked, the UK hadn’t become a communist country & it's citizens were allowed free choice Thumbs Up

Tim,

The tactic is to unscrew the cap and shove the mung bean into the valve. Bean jams the valve open and down go the tyres.

No damage caused unless it knackers the valve, but an unnecessary obstruction of the road will occurr.........the resulting tail back of cars stuck in the jam will cause even more pollution and acheive nothing for the enviroment. Censored TDV6 - gone
TDV8 - gone
