Drugs....many....

It's just that looking at so many peoples cars on here and they all look incredible - it was just a train of thought re whether some people think the cars look better just as original as they come. Prompted also by the guy on here who wanted his privacy taken off - therefore what constitutes the perfect car - original or add on?

Personally, I like the add on's - but to keep them to original bits as possible eg Kahn wheels are the absolute opposite of what I would like on my car, however 22'' Stormers and rear tips really push my buttons...

I've always thought Stormers look great on the 'Vesuvius orange' RSS however the 10 Spoke's look best on every other colour

Its looking like 2009 now - previously it was due at the E/2008, however apparently AUDI try to restrict RS models to only one in production at anyone time - as the RS6 has only just been launched and will run for 12 months production, I'm looking at 2nd Qtr 2009 now Sad

I love my 22' stormers too.....I have a full colour code, with front grill and side vents in full black - which I love - but chaged the side vents for Java colour code sides and silver fins, looks pretty good too. I'm a real sad git though - have swapped my side indicators for the last 2 hours twenty times to see what i prefer - white or nearly black.....driving me crazy!!!

One silly mistake though - the trim on the running boards (normally steel finish) I had coded black as well - and now noticing that when stones hit it from the wheels it's chipping it away. Do you think I can get away with painting it silver steel enamel or would it need to go back in the shop for a spray - seems a lot of effort for such a small space!

Kaine - must say am very envious of the RS5 - sure you wouldn't want an R8 though? I had a loan of an R8 for a week before I ordered my Maser - was a very tough choice - came down to money in the end - even with 40K in - R8 still worked out to £900 a month on a lease....although Stratstones are doing Aston V8 Vantage for £25K in and only £599 a month....

Yup, was a thought...but not a huge fan of the flaps - Mrs Nick also thinks the trim on the boards needs to be steel finish as it's a nice visual feature....I just wanted to be different I guess!!

Tim....am all for keeping the car as stylish/original as I can, without going down the Kahn route......other than slighty tinted rear lights, bigger wheels, tips and colour code, it's all the real deal!
