Just collected the car from Guy Salmon. Had to pay £240! The Service Manager agreed that as they never check the drum whilst servicing that it shoud be a warranty item. As it has done more than 25,000 miles Land Rover do not cover it? Just aqquired a Silver HSE. Also have a TVR Tuscan |

I'm sure that it is a service item - they have to check the electric winch and the wire that operates it. Also quite a few people have reported increased fuel consumption due to the EPB having been serviced and then binding on or the pads becoming dislodged. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

It get's worse!! I phoned Land Rover Customer Services and they said it is definitely a warranty repair and they would phone the dealership and get my money rebateted.

THE PADS DONT AFFECT IT ITS A WARRANTY REPAIR THE FIRST THING THEY SHOULD DO IS TO ADJUST THE SHOES, AND THAT SHOULD CURE IT IF NOT IT SOUNDS LIKE IT NEEDS A NEW EPB MODULE. WHICH IS WARRANTY |
