I live in E18, and my closest dealer is Stratstone, however they have proved to be quite appalling at basic sales and service. In fact their service area is totally unusable.

So I'm looking for any suggestion for a garage, be it independent or main who is honest and is close to the E18 postcode.

Will call him today once I have managed to cancel the work at Stratstone, my basic problem is that we have been waiting for them to come back with quotes for the glass for 6 weeks and in the meantime the warranty has run out.

As we had effectively already tried to fix these problems before the warranty ran out they are still dealing with them "under warranty".

Problems were tailgate lock, park sensor, and steering. Only the tailgate lock was fixed at the first attempt.

Will you take over the park sensor and steering issue or should I stick with them until I have resolved this?

Really not sure what the situation is regarding taking over an existing warranty issue which has straddled the warranty expiry date. Give Paul a call and he'll be happy to chat it through with you.

As regards a new one, we can certainly help!! Today is just close enough to do a deal and take delivery before the price increase on Tuesday!

Well, lets hope Charles Hurst lives up to expectation...issue is...there is a 3 month wait for a new one....funnily my local dealer (sales) suddenly phoned me and asked why I hadn't bought the car from him...he didn't recognise him until I told him the common like for racing bikes....ahhh...then he remembered...
