The room it is in is 26' x 26' but 13' wide L shape and the screen is on an end wall so is not visible when you walk in the room. With HD you dont need to sit too far away otherwise you cant apreciate the detail so we view it from arount 12 to 14 feet away which is great. I have the cables in the wall and a Piano Black with Black Glass Spectral AV unit under for all my gear. It looks great. This is the cabinet but my one has Black Glass which looks a great deal better, http://www.tvandvideodirect.com/product.ph...p;xSec=763 |

Thanks for the PM. How can I have one HDMI cable going to the screen, but able to feed PS3, Sky, Camcorder etc with no signal loss. Use an AV receiver with HDMI or something? 2022 P440e AB |

just to add, the reason why I believe the Pioneer 428 screens to be the best is not purely based on that its image reproduction is so good, but the fact it makes nearly any source (even crappy Sky SD) look good.

3 months ago I bought the Samsung 46 LCD LE46F86BDX. 46 I feel is just about right size, but it had far the best picture from all sources HD & non HD. 1080p 3 HDMI on side and rear, game mode, realy is the dogs! It's mounted on a 7even systems vertibra 4 stand which looks great, stainless steel pole with 3 glass shelves. Speed Limits! not where I live!

exactly where i have mine... i have a sony KDL40W2000 mounted on a Vogel bracket (http://www.av4home.co.uk/acatalog/Vogels_E...l_Arm.html). Perfect for mounting nxt to a chimney breat. When TV is not in use we can push the TV back against the wall (so as not to dominate the small room), then when we want to use the TV we can pull it out and adjust the angle dependant upon the number of people in the room. re: external box for av... i have an AV selector (http://www.audiovisualonline.co.uk/dynamic...rowse.html). if you buy one decent cable (£60-80/m) to go from the TV to the switching box, then £10-£20/m between the switching box and your devices, you will be pleased with the results. I have a V+ Box, PS3, DVD/HD Rec & Xbox360 running through mine, all of which provide fantastic viewing. RRS First Edition S/C, Vesuvius Orange, Rear Entertainment, Alpine TUE-T200DV, Stormer Alloys. (+ 19" MTR's for playing in the snow!) |
