Landrover Button and Air Suspension Qs

2 qs ....

Is their anyway to have the air suspension move down to Access level whenever the car is put into PARK or turned off? Also , I know you can set the landrover button to control the height ( which I have ) but I dont want to have to turn on the hazard lights to enable the functionality... Anyone know how to get around the need for the Hazard lights to be on? TDV6HSE, Rimini Red

If you had a TDV8 you wouldn't be able to remote control the suspension. On the later cars there is a lot less functionality on the keyfob. No remote boot release being the one I miss most. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

All I seem to be able to programme into mine are the panic alarm and lights on. The tailgate has the electric "soft opener/closer" on it but I don't seem to be able to get it work from the fob. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I can set the following - headlights on, panic alarm and suspension adjustment but there is no way I can get the rear hatch to open on the remote (it isn't even mentioned in the owners manual). 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Mine was set at the dealer, maybe it's a factory default? I'm sure it won't be long before we get the answer, cue Bobby and others Speed Limits! not where I live!

Tim, just found this,

Here we go!!

In all instances you need to hold the LR button whilst you do the following:

(It will usually activate the previous function when you do this for the first time, i.e will open the boot as you set it for Headlights etc)

Headlights - Pull back indicator stalk to flash the lights.
Suspension - Press the 'raise' button for the suspension.
Upper Tail Gate - Pull upper tailgate button.
Full Tailgate - Push round button on boot.
Panic Alarm - Press hazzard Light button
Instant Front Seat Full Recline - Back rest forward switch

Just so you know (because let's face it you're going to want to try it out), if you want to use the button for the suspension you need to activate the hazzard lights and have all doors shut. Then hold the LR button and whilst doing so hold the unlock to lower or lock to raise (think it's that way round). Does take a second or so to start responding though!

Part of another thread that i was just reading, hope it works, Steve. Speed Limits! not where I live!

Now why would one want to recline the front seat by remote control from outside the car - maybe that is the special feature they put in for lounge lizards like Jay!

I'll have a go at them in the morning Steve, save annoying the neighbours when the panic alarm keeps sounding! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

With my car, as soon as you take the key out of the ignition the seat slides back and down and the steering wheel/collum winds in and up away from you. which is fine as long as no-one tall is sat behind me! Speed Limits! not where I live!
