2006 Range Rover Sport 4.4 V8 HSE Java Black

I've signed up and will be there subject to w**k. My dates in the UK around then are, Aug 7th to 26th and Sep 18th to Oct 7th. Apart from the trip to Gaydon with VA, Jaymann, Martin and misery I haven't had the chance to do much "convoying" with the RRS.
I was driving back from London the other day on the M4 and coincidentally "joined up" in the outside lane with two other RRSs. One peeled off at Cardiff and one at Port talbot. It was good fun for about 30 miles and priceless seeing people staring at the three of us in the outside lane. Good fun.
BD when I had the MINI, (BD = before the divorce), I also used to go on MINI road trips and the most we ever had was in 2004 when there were 92 MINIs tearing around the Chilterns in convoy - brilliant.
I'll stay overnight either on the Friday or Saturday or both.
BTW I was sitting in a DB9 in the showroom on that last trip to London and was sooooo tempted. I think if I'd had more time for a test drive I might have put the order in....maybe next year!!!

Ok girls and boys - August does look good and yes it is far away but something very much we can all look forward to. I'll send out a message on here for 3 Saturday dates and see what ones look good for most if not everybody...

Just back from a weekend in Manchester - was driving down Deansgate on Thurs night and joined a convoy of 5 RRS in Black....awesome sight.

Bombed it back today - 115 all the way - Manchester to London in 2.5 hours - and the roads were empty!!

The London meet will be incredible.....

It’s a long time since I’ve been down the M4 from Fishguard to London. Early to mid nineties I think since I did that drive & that was always in a van !!

So a “rocket” down the UK’s motorways in a RSS would just be so
